Dukas, Paul

Paul Dukas(1865-1935), French composer, studied at the Paris Conservatory, then later taught there, appointed director to the Academy des Beaux Arts. He composed 1 opera, symphonic poems, ballet music and one symphony. His most popular music is a Symphonic Poem - "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" which was adopted and characterized in the movie "Fantasia" as shown with the stamp.
