Dunayevsky, Isaak

Isaak Osipovich Dunayevsky(1900-1955), Russian composer and conductor, he studied violin at the Kharkov Music School, then studied composition at the Kharkiv Conservatory, played violin at the Kharkiv Orchestra, then conducted in Moscow and Leningrad. From 1929 to 1941 he was music director of the Leningrad Music Hall. He composed 14 operettas, ballet music, symphonies, and film scores.
